Can anyone identify this bow?
« on: April 23, 2011, 05:31:00 PM »
A guy has this for sale on my local craigslist.  He says he can't find any name on it but he bought it in 1961.  It is 64" AMO and 50#.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

New to the site and the the sport.  Thanks.

Whatever the model is, it is made by Indian Archery.

If Jim and Ray say its Indian, you can bet it is.

Jim and Ray you may want to look at a 60's Stemmler catalog and you may change your mind on this one.

Steve -

Can you scan & post the information that you find there? I do not have a catalog available.

Yea I would love to have this one identified definitively as I mentioned above I was told by others that my bows were Indians and was just a tiny skeptical but the info came from a couple different people so I believed it. Jim

And the red glass is the most red thing I have ever seen. The one I had was the definition of red and I am guessing this one is the same. Jim

Looking at the bows red color and arrow shelf point it in the direction of the Stemmler unless there were changes made to an Indian. The red is a little off of the Indian and the Indian arrow rest is not present ? Nice bow either way !

Twisted arrow is on the right track it is a Stemmler. When I find the catalog I will post a pic and let you know the model. Or better yet if I can find one of mine I will post pics of it.
