WB, They were if they have the limbs that came on
them, if someone changed limbs, and put a set of
the old ones on the bow then you cant. If they have the black and white tips, they should be OK.
the old ones will be White, red, green, or  blue
I think, not sure about blue. hope that helps.

black & white or green tip overlays are the only two designed for FF bd

I have one , my brace height is a little low at 6.25 but with brush buttons and The silencers made from musk ox wool (cant remember actual name) it shoots fast and quiet w/bear magnum 308 arrows and 50 # limbs . also I use a flemish twist string in FF material .You might also try bow muff at the string groove ,many believe that is an area where you get "string slap" against the limbs

yes green tips limbs are FF safe green tip Bear Archery limbs were actually tested in the 1980's using Kevlar strings.Which was what the Olympic shooters wre using at the time and still do today I beleave.I have a set of green tippers that shoot real good with a FF string on them and are around 8-10 feet per second faster with the FF bd

actually I have tested every make model style and different color tip overlay of Bear limbs and most bows with FF and or Kevlar both.It does not hurt the tip overlays because they are made of greenies would be wood and the rest of them are fiberglass and are as strong as any overlays on any bow built today. The deal with FF or Kevlar strings is they are very hard on the fadeout area of your limbs lots of shock from FF strings bd

I agree with you, I hunted a lot of time with the green tips with FF string, in the 90'. Here in France, a lot of guys don't believe me. Thanks.

oh yeah I have or well had a set of green tip 65# ers I used on my A mag for fast action crap shooting(snap shooting at 25-26 inch draw).I shot those limbs with a padded kevlar string.I bought a roll of the kev and made flemish twist strings out of it.That works great but they do slip after 300-500 arrows you would have to adjust your brace height a bit.But I shot kevlar on those limbs for 6 years and then sold them to a guy who has been using them for the same thing and they are still shooting fine after about 10 years of FF use.Greenies are good bd
