Picked up a Browning today
« on: June 04, 2011, 03:05:00 PM »
Found an Explorer II, serial # 303982, 62" long and 60# @ 28" today.  It's in very good condition, dang near mint.  Can anybody give me an idea of what the approximate value of this bow might be?  I'll try to get some pics up later if it'll help.

Didn't Terry revise that rule a couple weeks ago?
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

I believe he did.

Not sure about your specific bow but I see nice old Brownings anywhere from 100-150.00
Relax,

You'll live longer!

Thanks guys.  It was one of those "too good to pass up" sort of deals.  I shoot lefty, so it's not much use to me, but I'm hoping I can at least trade it for something I can use.

I have an Explorer 2 in 48# I gave $50.00 for, but I had to clean it up, fill holes, etc.  They are nice shooting old bows. I don't see that many out there in 60#. I doubt you will have any difficulty selling a heavy weight Browning hunting bow!
