NOT as good as Wade's 1938 set but......hey, that isn't exclusive to JUST these arrows!! lol

Sorry, Kenny...The spirit was willing but once again.....the flesh was weak.

Some "issues" that hopefully will be taken care of by Compton 2012.

Very Nice arrows Steve. . . Interesting, Kenny that you should mention a 59 Grizzly as I just picked up another one and was doing some quick side by side comparing and noting some differences in IBeam wood and Limb Tip overlay's. Hope you guy's don't mind that I post a few of the pics. Your arrows would look good with these Steve!!

Larry, that 50#er looks like one i had. Due to the bigger beefier riser/handle we determined it was a '59/'60 transition bow. Mine had glass tips.

Any of the 59's seem to be of great interest to most and they are lookers for sure. Like so many of the truly fine things of our past, I've yet to hold any of the models in hand, let alone, shoot or own one.

So many bows grab my interest, yet it is always the leather grip versions that hold onto it very long.

Maybe Ill buy myself something for retirement (3 years 3.5 months) should funds allow but for now, content looking at those you guys own and hunt with........unless someone has one in a yard sale close by!!!

I noticed that and, to be honest, I wasn't sure WHAT cut I would call that LOL.

"Easy" cut? I think I could make those with scissors!      

Is curious though........I'm trying to recall seeing parabolic cut on truly OLD arrows. ???

Is there some kind of recorded "date" on feather cuts (other than the P&Y cut, LOL)

Steve, Again sorry for the bows. I just get excited sometimes and don't think!!!! Love your arrows and hope to find some like it someday. Very Nice!!! Kenny, the grips when looked at up close are very close to being the same and when placed up to a 1960 it is very obvious. I should try to get Wade's thoughts as to the serial #'s. I believe your correct that the 50# is way later in the year. Steve, that retirement will be here sooner then you think. Good Luck!!!!
