Which bolt? The one inset into the Mag riser? The stud on the later single arm 8 arrow quiver? The wood riser bows prior to the wood TD just had a bushing, no bolt, the bolt was with the quiver. The wood riser TD has same bolt as the Mag riser.

A side mount quiver or the one in the front of the riser ?

I think it was a knurled nut from some that I have seen. Mine has a wing nut and I think that is not right. I would like to know too.

It depends on the year and the quiver, the early bows.........longbows and statics had a shiny brass bolt- with a dome style slotted head, some were brass and others a more silver color. That was to attach the leather scabbard three arrow quiver.
In the mid 50's they went to a very flat headed bolt that was knurled and a slot that worked well with a coin the finish matched the brown anodized quivers of the day. That continued into the early 60's-my collection stops with the dog legs, so I have paid little attention to what came after that. I don't know if that addresses your question or not.

Whiteoaks, these were from the '60's.As Bjorn said, they were slotted for a coin (quarter). The slot is .12" wide and not flat bottomed but dips deepest in the center.

The head is .5" wide and slightly domed. The rim is knurled, app. 35 lines per inch. These appear to have a blued finish.I have seen older ones that appeared to be gray parkerized.

The total length, including head,is .567".The threaded portion is .44".The bolts have 1/4-20 threads.I believe this would have been the design from the mid-50's,probably into the '70's.
