Is this Cresting familiar looking to anyone?
« on: December 04, 2011, 08:03:00 PM »
Sorry to keep bugging you all.

I cant help if all the knowledgable help is HERE.....and I'm trying to learn more as I go.

Probably not "unusual" but unusual to ME, Ive never seen the "silverish" adhesive on the front edge of these feathers before yet the cresting looks somewhat familiar.

Hill Hornet heads on them (two sizes), low cut, slight offset barred, shield feathers, nock shown is new for shooting. Old ones are brittle but I still have some with them if a photo is needed.

Cresting includes a white band with silver lines just before the nock.

They came with the bow in the photo also indicating there is some "age to them". 443 grains WITH heads, Lightweights compared to my other old arrows, yet are cedar. Not a bad photo for a cheapie cell phone while in the stand.

Dang deer stood me up.....again.

God Bless.

The bow is pretty easy to identify.........................the feather shape is wrong for Bear and the glue may have been applied by an owner.
Can't help with the cresting.
Nice set up!

Nice classic cresting pattern on that arrow. I have always felt that less is more in appearance. Don't know the maker! Nice bow.
