FRED BEAR Head Bust

To those interested in aquiring a bust of FRED BEAR. The artist who originally produced the 3/4 and full size bust of FRED and of HOWARD HILL will be producing bust of FRED beginning in January as part of a promotional deal with "BEAR ARCHERY" out of Gainsville,Florida. Now it is my understanding they will be available with a purchase of the "OLD CLASSIC" bow that are to reproduced as they were back in whatever year they were originally produced! This is not written in stone, however I recieved this information from the artist, himself! As I find more concrete information, I will post it! Please note: the artist who is doing the bust of FRED is also creating commemorative discs 48 of them in a collector series, they will be made of pewter and approximately 3"s in diameter to hung on the wall. These plques will honor the achery great of yesryear past,the likes of Art Young,Saxton Pope, the Wilhelm Bros.Glenn St. Charles,Nels Grumley,Gilman Keasey,Fred Bear, Howard Hill,the list could go on and on. You get the idea as to what is going on. The idea is to honor thoses that have contributed to archery.
A collector will be proud to have these to display on the walls of thir den. Of special interest for archery clubs these plaques will be offered in a belt buckle version, should any club wish to use these as prizes in an archery tournament something an archer could use would be happy to display! As the ball gets rolling I will keep the TG comunity updated.Later Jacques

Sounds cool.....always wanted one of those bust and the disc could be neat also..would like to see a list of the archers on the disc though...Hink
