Help with bear bows I.D....PICS ADDED
«

Greetings all,
I have a green glassed Kodiak Magnum serial # 9UI5723 52" rh 50# bow and a brown glassed Grizzly serial # 30CG120 58" 55# rh.
I'm looking to see what year and possible worth to both bows.
Thanks in advance.
Happy hunting,
Jason

The Kodiak Magnum is most likly a 69 and the Grizzly is a 64. Pictures would confirm it though.

Here's some pics...
Any idea of worth on these bows? Both bows are in good shape (normal strations on limbs and dings in the finish but otherwise sound).
Happy hunting,
Jason

Yep 64 Griz and a 69 Magnum. No serious money here as they are not Kodiaks. They would fetch in the neighbor hood of 100 bucks a piece. I would like the Griz if it weren't too heavy for me, but 55 pounds is too much for me.

The 64 Zebrawood Grizzlies bring great money on the auction site. At a rare 55 lbs one in mint shape would probably be worth three or four times what Bill quoted. Looks like a nice 69 Magnum and I would say $150-$200

300 or 400 for a grizzly? man I am out of touch. I thought that was like 64 Kodiak money not 64 griz money.

The 64/65 Grizzlies have come back down. I have been looking for a mint one but still looking. I have seen some sell in the $250-$300. I just sold a 65 in good shape for $240

Yeah aint no Grizz going for 400
I think the Grizz's that go for the most are the 61's and 62's.
I know the Super Grizzly in the rare Red White and Blue colors fetch a pretty penny. I have one of them.

Bill, you need to watch the market a little more and stop looking at those Bear cuff links
LOL!!
The 64 and 65's with zebrawood and a nice weight will fetch a premium price.

I have seen some 64/65 Grizzlies this summer go crazy in the $400 range and one in the $600 range but seems like prices have started to come down as they did with the 59 Kodiaks.

Dang I hate being proven wrong! I never noticed they went for that much. Heck you can get a 1960 Kodiak for that!
