A Stewart Bow...but when & Who???

To me this is an interesting bow for a couple different reasons...Revisit Jack Shanks post"OK here's one I need help with"....The lines of this bow are very similar to the one in that post.  But I think different builders.  which leads me to the thought; was this the accepted recurve design of the time?? but what time???
           
The bow has woven glass on both belly and back.
The riser might be Walnut.  The laminates under the glass look tike maple or maybe lemon wood.  interesting to me is the back lam stays the same thickness to the tip, but the belly lam thins to almost paper thin. The grip is one piece wrap.  Next the "STEWART" logo??? I am only aware of one Stewart who was building bows back around the time frame this construction suggests....If anyone knows of another bowyer from the time frame by that name, besides Mr. Bill Stewart, please chime in.

 I haven't found out anything more on the Stewart Special I posted pictures of. There is another similiar to it listed on the auction site. I would be curious to know more about who possibly made them myself.
