I've had the best results with 8-9". It varies a little from bow to bow and shooter to shooter but 8 1/4-8 1/2" is where I usually end up on a Super K and I currently own four of them. You might start with an endless loop type 60" AMO string that was standard issue on these bows to get in the ballpark and lengthen or shorten it by twisting and untwisting the string to find your optimum ht. After you determine that use whatever kind of string you like-e.l. or flemish.                                   Grant
