name for my new bow
« on: December 13, 2007, 08:55:00 PM »
Well I got a new PSE Hertiage 45lbs longbow. It shoots like a dream. I already got on the how to section and put a leather wrap handle on it. feels great. Now all I need is for my fellow trad gangers to name it for me. Let me know and I will pick one. Also I have shot aluminum arrows all my life, my neighbor gave me a gold tip arrow and I shot it with good results. My question is will they work with heavy headed two blade broadheads? They seem so light. will they penetrate deer well?      :campfire:

I shoot GT because they are so easy to tune... Your archery shop (  or if you have the tool-like a big allen wrench that goes down the shaft from the nock end)  can add weight and use regular broadheads to tune the arrows which usually need more wt up from to fly well.. opens lots of choices for broadheads...
Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes.

Well, I truly believe a bow will eventually name itself. When it does, you will know.
