Bear leather top quiver questions

I have some specific questions for you guys who use some of the old Bear leather tops. First does the model that has the single attachment at the handle vibrate much? Does the lenght of quiver cause problems? Should it be longer for better arrow support and less arrow vibration? Does the snap on type work well are there any draw backs to that design? Would a strap system be better like Great Northern type system? It seems the design of that quiver puts the quiver farther back (towards the string) and angles your arrows more towards the bottom tip of bow. I assume they do this to be able to get at the spare arrow holder on the back of the quiver? The quivers these days seem to follow more in line to the riser or handle. I prefer my arrows to angle more to the bottom tip. Does the quiver being a little farther back balance the bow better or worse? Any other in put good or bad would be appreciated.

I've used them all and yes the single mount does vibrate some.  You can even see this in the old Bear Archery videos when Fred was in Africa during the late 50's.  The double spring arm is the quickest to get off and on, but be careful the length matches the bow you put it on.  The arms aren't adjustable, but the quiver did come is a short and long version.  I found the tape-on model to be the most versatile and the most rigid.  The only drawback is it takes a little time and tape to install.  As far as balance, this never was a very important issue to me because just about any quiver makes a bow shoot different.  If you can get hold of a copy of the CD of the Grayling Bear catalogs (Three Rivers Archery) you can see all the quivers described.  Good Luck.

Thanks roofleakfixer I do have the CD just got it. I know of all the models I just have never used them before. I am making a prototype because i like the looks of this quiver very classy looking. I just wanted to get a feel for what guys thought that have used them.
