bear sight plate or cover
« on: May 22, 2012, 05:09:00 PM »
I recently got an unbelievably sweet deal on a Bear Temujin, which is a bow straight out of Edgar Rice Burroughs. Anyhow, I got it on the place which we all know, and the seller said that the bow was cherry (it is) but that the sight plate is missing, but also that you can easily pick them up any old place (it is missing, but I can't find one!). So...does anyone know where to get a spare sight or cover for a Bear Temujin? Incidentally, I did find out that Temujin was the birth name of Genghis Khan, which might be interesting to history enthusiasts. Maybe the Tamerlane had the same cover, but that I think would be just as hard to find.

They show up on the bay occasionally. Keep watching.

Shick:  I'm looking for a sight cover for a 69 SK, wouldn't happen to have one of those would you.  They may be the same, I'm not sure, does anyone know if they are the same covers that also went on the Mag T/D Risers.  RW

Hey guys,
I picked up a B mag riser recently and it has the sight plate with pins missing.
I'm looking for a nice bear cover plate for it. I had one new in package and gave it to a fellow TG member who needed one last year as I had no need for it.
........any help? Thanks in advance.

The covers, screws and brush rest are also the same ones supplied with the early Bear Alaskan compounds FYI.
