This has been a joy to read. I hope that the pictures and information posted here will be made available (with higher res pics) in a more permanent form. This is history that should be around for a few more hundred years.

Daisy is still a very beautiful woman. The determination in her face and bearing has not diminished in the least over the years of her wonderful life.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

OUTSTANDING STUFF RIGHT THERE......   :thumbsup:    :thumbsup:
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

The collector's section of Tradgang has become my favorite of the site due to the historical postings.  Thanks a bunch for sharing the pics and stories.

Great read John!  I love talking with shooters from the golden era of modern archery.

Keep up the great work!

Hobow- Thanks,and I couldn't agree more.I've said in the past that meeting and talking to some of those that helped to make the history we love to read about has been the highlight of my search for this "old stuff".I'm really glad that so many others share this same interest.
