Help needed to find a name

When I was a kid (some 50+ years ago) there was a tv show about a guy that would go to all kinds of fun spots and hunt with a Ben Person 304 bow.  I have worked Google into the ground but have not been able to find the name of either the show or the guy in the show.

Anyone out there that can help me?

About 50 years ago in the mid-60's, Fred Bear was THE man on TV.  I cannot remember any other national personality that would come close.

the name is on the tip of my tounge,LOL, but I just cannot get it out. I know he had a beard and I believe he was a singer. I too watched a few of those shows when I was a kid. I can picture him clear as a bell but just cannot remember the name.

I am thinking---Bob Markworth, I may not be 100% on both names. Danny, he had a beard. Did trick shooting, etc., at shows, schools, etc. Always had a pretty young lady as his sidekick. He hunted outside os the US, seems I remember one story of a NZ hunt. Was featured quite often in Bow & Arrow magazine in the 60's, 70's. I do not remember seeing anything about him since the late 80's--mid 90's.

There is listed a documentary film, "The Arrowmaster Story".
 Some other bits; california state archery champion, kills a banteng, career spanning 45 years, performed archery act in 58 countries.
