Broadhead collector?

I have a couple of the John Hauch bloodtrail broadheads and thinking of trading one of them.  what is the cash value of one of these heads?

And the value of a Special made Zwickey for Bear broadhead?

Is that the one with the "duck-bill" open tip?  Nice head, but nothing you'll retire on.  There were others that are just tubes.  Not as interesting (IMHO) but rarer.

One of two guys I know who occasionally sell outright lists that at $7.50 (if it is the Bloodtrailer 100), which is mid-range good value for relatively common heads.  If yours is the Beryllium Copper version or one of the other odd variations it's worth much more.  To some.

A broadhead will always get you another broadhead 1:1.  ;-)

Any of the six variations of "Zwickey for Bear" are good heads.  No idea what yours is or its worth.  I'm not even sure how to identify them as such.  What someone will pay - or a broadhead in trade.

stumpkiller, thanks for your response.  I am not a collector and these are some of what my dad had.

I understand that the John Hauch head is on the rare side because there were few made and they were esperimental and they are the tube type head.  I sent the Bear/ Zwickey head to a collector to look it up for me and he came back with the info for me.  It's a bit of history and I will pass it on to my grandkids to hang onto.  I have a nice collection of arrowheads that I found on the desert that will also be given to then to share with others as a part of history.

As mentioned above Mr. Phillips has some knowledge of the tube type heads.  He has a few and one of them came with the Floyd Eccleston collection .  My dad gave Floyd the one that he had.  I was fortunate enough to be standing there when dad gave it to Floyd at a local archery shoot here in Muskegon, Michigan.

Good stuff!  I'm a bottom feeder when it comes to heads and just like to have examples of the old glue-on heads.  Thousands of designs over the years and, happily, some unique looking heads were pretty common.  

The big dogs like Ron and Wade are far beyond my orbit and get up into the H.A.R.V. (Heads of Any Real Value).  Ron hunts with a head that was extremely rare just short years ago that Ben Frankin designed specially for him, and the rest were buried with the National Treasure . . . I think that was the way it went.
