Wanna, your bow looks great too.It looks like it may have a diffrent combination of woods than mine does. From what i can see your varnish is in good condition just a little dull. You can get some rubbing compound and buff it with a wrag and it will put a nice shine back to it and that will really make the grain pop.I have brush buttons on my string and a period correct bear quiver on mine, now i just need some 3 prong kwicky silencers and it will be set up just like we had our bows back when we were teens.Maybe a set of camo bow socks too.I collect 59 models too when i can find ones i can afford, that is my birth year. After seeing that 59 pearson you got i think i need to start looking for some of those too. I too want to thank you guys that helped wannabe with dateing his bow.It is great to have help from some of you collectors that have years of experiance in old bears and have owned or handled more of them than many of us could ever dream of.The collectors section here is my favorite section on trad gang. I spend hours just going back and reading posts and seeing the pics you guys put up here!

Tony, thats cool! I havnt seen one with that dark of a strip in the riser before.Very nice! I see you have a set of those old kwiky kwivers on yours. That is what we used on a lot of our bows back in the 70's. Didnt have a hood on them and we still survived too, lol.I think they did make a hood you could get to use with them that clipped to one of the arrows but i never had one of those.

I bought a 69' Kodiak Hunter a year ago off this site, its a great bow. I always liked the 70'-72' Hunters and K-Mags with the 2 wood risers.
