« on: June 29, 2013, 07:32:00 AM »
Has anyone ever heard of an old time bowhunter from Mansfield Ohio with the name of Willard. I believe this is his first name. He was also supposed to be a dentist. Sorry but this is all I have. any help would be appreciated.

Chuck,
It seems there was a thread on here awhile ago,I think it was started by Wade Phillips, that referenced an archer named Willard.Something in relation to the Wilhelm brothers.Perhaps John Willard.I could be way off but that name sounds familiar. Not sure what the thread on the history/collecting forum was called but perhaps you could do a search.Having a great memory was never one of my strong points.

Chuck...look for topics started by "pucci" and "Wade Phillips".  The two titles of the topics are "Wanted Bow and Arrow magazine and "old hinged horn bows."
Unfortunately the thread does not give much info on Willard Bishop, but mentions his bow collection.

Thanks Guys.It appears the Willard i'm looking for is not the Willard Bishop that Wade referred to.
