Hunting the storm with F-Manny
«

Despite of the snow storm,F-Manny made it from Montreal to hunt eastern Ontario deer woods. We haven't seen any deer, haven't seen any other hunters either
. Strong eastern wind and 0 degrees and a foot of snow, was kind of chilly out there this morning.Gotta love late season deer hunting.
Here's a few pics of F-Manny...
F-Manny and me...
Let it snow....
Was nice to share a deer hunt with such a good friend.

Harl, the storm pick-up not long after I took these pics, right now,can barely see the neighbor who's 80 yards away!
Deer are heading for the yard in great number lately, one got hit by the snow plow this morning right after F-Manny left. Hope he makes it safely back to Montreal.

What can I say? 2007 was a very important year for me: I met two extraordinary hunters, longbow shooters, from whom I learned a lot:
Cary (Big Dog) and Serge (Drifter2)
I know that this is just the beginning of long friendship and many many more hunts!
Already the focus is on 2008
This morning was a blessing, I was not cold in my wool bibs
chemical handwarmers running in all pockets and in my boots
This is winter in Canada!
I wish every one wonderful holidays
