Hi guys
I have a Bear Grizzly, 56" and 50# the serial number is 9R10186. Can anyone help me on the year it was made?

Yeah, what he said. So that you know he knows whereof he speaks, here's a widely cited resource on the subject (even flattered from time to time by plagiarism or a failure to attribute it properly ...)

BTW, I sold a '68 in that length and 48# a few months ago. It's my sincere hope the new owner is enjoying it as much as I miss it. That's a handy length and a good shooter.

In the 1969 Bear Archery Catalog it states " Riser Wood: Shedua" "Glass Color: Forest Green" "56" Catalog No. 2961".
I have a '68 in Tigerwood - Bear only made the 56" Grizzly in 1968, 1969, and 1970.

In very good shape, $150 is a very fair price, maybe a little bit under what could be had in an online auction but not a whole lot. (This assumes there are no holes whatsoever in it, filled or not.)
