That is always a good weekend even though I work all three days I do get a chance to roam around.  Jerry Brum has been a family friend for 60 years. We hash over old times everytime we see each other. He shot with my dad and older brother back in the day as I was a bit younger then.

Bill Hinkley (broadhead collector) was right across from us, the Michigan Traditional Bow Hunter booth. We have gotten to know each other over the years and I have had a chance to sell Bill a few things for his display.

They briefly showed the flint knappers which was also right across from us.  There were two knappers shown, Don Gilson who is an absolute artist and a young man (striped sweater) by the name of Silas who is an outstanding knapper just after a few years of knapping.  If Silas keeps it up, he will be one of Michigan's best.  Silas and I sat next to each other yesterday at a small knap in.  He was nocking out point after point and all I had a pile of gravel on the floor!!

The guy that filmed the show came to our booth and joined the club.  We had a nice visit.
