Bear Double Spring-Arm Quivers.....
« on: May 05, 2015, 10:53:00 AM »
I'm thinking about trying to pick up a couple quivers for Tyler & I's matching 50# 1972 Grizzlys...

Anyone got any pictures??? Like them??? Don't...???

I thought about a couple single arms, but it seems hard to find the stabilizer hole bracket, that the lower end attaches to...

I have every model of the single and double Bear Spring Arm Quivers, including some experimental and prototypes.

Years ago, I used and tested the various double spring arms on various bows of their period. As my Father always said, experience is the price of an education.

For me, single spring arm Bear Quivers with the stabilizer hole brackets are much nicer in every regard when compared to the double spring arms.

Once you find the stabilizer hole brackets you can use them on other vintage Bears you acquire later.

The effort and expense to locate the brackets is well worth whatever it costs in time and money.

Thank you very much for your reply Wade!!!

Any ideas on where to look for the brackets, or possibly anyone who is making them???

The brackets show up on the auction site from time to time.

Steve is correct. I have located several at auction. Completed "Bear Bow Quiver Bracket" searches, show new and used brackets have been available recently. Generally used ones are considerably less then those that are new/unused.

I use Bear spring arm's all the time. I have both types. Since I use Bear T/D's, I use the bottom bushings with just the upper arm most often. I remove my quiver when on stand, so the Bears work great. They on the auction site a lot. They are right/left specific, so make sure you get the correct one.

Also use the single spring arm with the bottom bracket. Can also get new arrow grippers for the quivers.
