Bear Take Down
« on: June 16, 2015, 08:21:00 PM »
I'm wondering if someone could direct me to information detailing the specs on the overall bow length, suggested brace height, and string length for a new Bear take down with a B riser and #3 limbs?
I've looked at Bear's website, but to no avail.
Thanks for your help.

The B riser and #3 limbs will give you a 64" bow, and you will need a string of 60" long.  Brace height can vary from shooter to shooter but recommended brace is 7"-8".

Personally, I like to start on the low end of 7" and twist it up a few turns until I reach best flight, quiet, less shock, etc.   However, I usually end up on the high side around 8" with a 64" TD.
