Riser or bow similar to the grip of Samick Sage?

I'm new to archery and have a Sage and early 90s model Damon Howatt Hunter. I got the Sage around Christmas and the Howatt a few weeks ago at a local pawn shop for cheap. I love the Howatt but after shooting both bows every day for the past month, I've realized the grip on the Sage fits my hand much better. It has a thicker, squared off type feel which fits my hand better.
Anyone know of a good bow or riser which has a similar grip to the Sage, but is better quality than the Sage? I'm not getting anything new soon, But want to know of some good options for when I do want to upgrade.

I have never picked up a Sage so I am not familiar with the grip.

The Howatt Hunter is an excellent design that has stood the test of time.  Perhaps you can add some leather to the grip area with double sided tape and just maybe build up the grip to your satisfaction.  I have a Victor that has a wrap in the grip and it works well for me.

My guess is once you shoot some other bows you will realize the blocky grip of the Sage (I have shot both right handed and left handed Sages) is really not what you will shoot best...in general bows with thinner throats are less susceptible to torquing and thus easier to shoot really well...try a Robertson Fatal Styk grip and you will see what I mean

Pick up a vintage 70's bear grizzly and never look back, the grip is the tops for sure. Rich pyle

If you can find a ben pearson that has the fiberglass running the full length of the bow and doesn't stop above and below the riser they tend to be squared off on the non grip side, I can't name a model but have had quite a few in my hand that are squared off.

Never shot a Sage but they look like a great way to kill some deer and get hooked on Trad!

I handled a Bear Kodiak Magnum the other day that felt really nice.  Is the grizzly similar?

Depends on the years you are comparing.  You can find some K-Mag years similar to the 1964-1967 Grizzly depending on the individual bows.  As a general rule I would say the K-mag is higher wrist than the Grizzly.  

You'll read this all over this site, and it can be difficult to execute depending on where you are, but I have never read of anyone who regretted making it happen....
Try to get to a traditional archery shoot, shop, event where you can handle and see many bows.  When at a shoot just ask folks about their bows.  Most folks will generally be quite helpful
