I am having issues tuning a 60" Personal model and would like to know any recommendations that Mr. Morse gave when selling these bows.  

There just doesn't seem to be much information about them that Google can locate for me.  Three things that I really need to know are brace height, string material, and actual string length.  While this is a fairly young bow to be asking questions about in this forum, information isn't being found on any of the other websites either.  I'm hoping that someone here owns or owned one of them and may have an owners manual tucked away somewhere.

My understanding is that these bows were considered to be quite good shooters in their day.  My experience thus far is that this particular bow doesn't like a brace height between 7 and 8 inches and prefers to shoot any arrow that I own between 6 and 18 inches right of where I aim.  It would be fun unraveling the mysteries of what makes it purr, but dadgum, it is getting hot early here and my playtime window is narrow.

Hello Brad,

I am away from my material and bows for the next several days...  The personal model was the camo laminated riser models?  I have one of the original models in 60" (17" riser with #3 limbs) and I believe I shoot it at either 8" or 8.5" and it came from John set up that way.  

Sorry, I am not where I can just string it up and measure it for you at the current time.

Brad,  John Morris recommended a brace height for his 60 inch bow of 8-8.5 inches.  Hope that helps.

Thanks guys.  I am at nearly eight inches now but was holding off going any more until I heard from somebody.  107 degrees outside right now so I am not in a hurry to go play.  I will twist the string up a bit in the morning and see what happens.

Yes it is dry heat, thank goodness.  I didn't get to string it up this morning.  A couple of our dogs ran off, probably chasing a road runner, and did not return.  This was Thursday afternoon.  I spent the morning making the rounds looking for them and getting the word out.  The one was a GSP with championship bloodlines.  Someone probably needed a quail dog for free.

Maybe Monday...
