Question for the Bear guys.....

I have been kinda lurking around here the last week or two, reading and learning as much as I can.  And I have a couple of questions I can't quite seem to find the answer to.

First off...................................... Im shooting an old Bear Kodiak Hunter
specs: Kt68021, amo-60", 45x#'s, it has the bushing in the front, blue stripe in the riser, and green white green white on the front of the riser.  Raised medallions with two bushings above it, for what Im assuming is a quiver.

I would like to know the year it was made, and going off all that I've read on correctly aging the KH it seems that Im looking at somewhere in the neighborhood of 71' to 75'?  I'm not trying to beat a dead horse here, nor am I looking for the exact day.  But hopefully the year isn't out of the realm of possibilities, lol!

Another question for era correct accessories, like the quiver, I have seen an anonymous auction site mentioned.  Literally it is always mentioned as "the big auction site".  Pretty sure I know which one, but if it is some secret auction site for trad gear, let me in on it and I wont tell anyone   , I promise!!!  

Also, whats a good starting point on the brace height?  I think I'm set up right now at 7-1/2".

Welcome!  And thanks for posting!
The green futurewood bows started in 1973.

If yours has white overlays on the front of the grip it's likely 1973-1975.  If it has blue overlays it's likely 1976-1978.  All years in there will have the blue stripe in the riser.

There are guys much more knowledgeable than me who may be able to pin the year down further.

It's a 73-75 and I had one just like yours right down to the marked weight when I was a teen, bought it new. The green quiver is period correct one for them. I had the one that used the front bushing for the lower mount.

Welcome to Tradgang, Jarrett.  I am a  fairly new guy myself having only been here for a few years.  I think some of the fellows on here have been around longer than fiberglass has been on bow limbs.  There is a lot of historical knowledge on this forum.

You shouldn't have much if a problem finding the green quiver.  They are pretty common on the auction site and usually can be bought right.
