Awesome work! I've read this post about a million times I bet. Now I'm thinking I should give building a bow a shot. You make it look too easy!
Nice work!

Super nice work Hera. Really like those yew limbs.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. Lost my surrogate dad a few years back. He introduced me to archery when I was a little fellow. I know what it's like. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Hey LEOPARD
This is my first try to build a rosewood riser.
It is rosewood from east india.
I can not choice my favor grain and color , that is a big problem to buy a wood block from internet.
In this rose wood riser, too dark to show out the grain.I will try rosewood santos next time.
Thank you for your input.

Hey 2Knives

I think I probably said that a million times I bet( LOL ),it is not very difficult to build a bow.

I build and post, not for blatancy, just to say I love trad archery and wood working.I really think I'm just normal average.
Tons of great bow and bowyer out there,I learn a lot from their website and here, and I will build and post continually.Archery is a great sport in my opinion,it improve our viability in migration 100000 years ago, hats off to archery.

I like the shape of longbow, but  my longbow building attempt is a tragedy.I give it a try 3 months ago,I give up that bow because of big handshake and stacking at my drawlength.I underestimate the knowledge and endeavor of the longbow building.
