Seldom seen Bear stuff
« on: June 05, 2016, 12:34:00 AM »
Had these for a while but was going thru my "junk" as my wife calls it and thought I'd post a few pics.

An early Bear Bowfishing Outfit, not complete but still cool.

A Bear Bowhunting Outfit also not but complete but close. Missing a quiver, an arrow with a field point and an arm guard .... I think.

Came with a "62" Bear Cub with some backbone pulling 49 # and sporting that lovely pale green glass.

The treated paper that comes between the auxiliary blades not only has my birth year on it but also the month. Thought that was cool !

Fred sure looks young, he was slaying deer before I was born !

That bow appears to be in excellent condition.  Neat stuff there.

The 1962 Cub is a surprisingly nice shooting bow. I have one at 45#'s and use it for a camp stump shooter. First one I have seen in the heavier #'s. Most I've come in contact with are in the 30 to low 40 # range. Nice display condition you have there along with some other cool stuff!   :)
