Unfamiliar longbow
« on: January 31, 2017, 04:00:00 PM »
Came across a longbow in an antique shop that I'm looking for some info on. It's a Hill style, backset, probably 68". No specs, the only markings are " Old Timer" and "Setting Sun" in gold letters on water transfer decals. Leather grip and leather arrowhead shaped strike plate. Something about this name rings a bell but I can't put my finger on it. Anyone know what I'm looking at?
We are all here because we are not all there.

Jim Brakenbury made an old timer longbow in the 1990's
