Happy 106th Birthday Glenn St. Charles

Happy 106th Birthday Glenn St. Charles – born December 15, 1911. One of Bear Archery's greatest representatives...

A couple of us are going hunting today with vintage equipment in memory of Glenn. I'm taking a St. Charles Thunderbird, a St. Charles Back Quiver, Mickey Finn Broadheads and a few other mementos from Glenn.

As Glenn frequently said, wrote and gave instructions as the consummate mentor that he always was...

"Keep the Tradition Alive"

Let's keep our memories of Glenn alive...

Happy Birthday Glenn

Glenn shared the birth date with me, I am just a youngster at 69 (1948). In the early 80`s (September), I had several hours to kill between flights (ID hunting); I took a cab to Northwest Archery. Glenn came down from the family noon meal and spent an hour or so showing me around, and then Joe spent time with me. I shot several rolls of film (remember film), still have all those photos.

I am heading out shortly to spend time, with bow in hand and memories in mine. And yes, it was "Such a Deal".

Yep, "Keep the Tradition Alive".

I feel very fortunate to have visited the Northwest Archery shop and spent time viewing the Museum back in the early 90's.

Along with owning books and pictures signed by Mr. St Charles. Nothing like Mr Phillips or others here but nice memories none the less!!
