Going to court in the morning...
« on: October 12, 2006, 12:05:00 AM »
Haven't been on here in a good while, but gonna change that as of now...

Would surely appreciate your prayers for my oldest son (Ben) and his two beautiful kids (Sydney - sweet 2 1/2 yr old girl, and Hunter - very energetic 1 1/2 yr old boy).  After a long and bitter divorce/custody battle, we go to court at 10:00 tomorrow (10/12) morning for the final custody hearing.  His "ex" abandonded the kids about a year ago, and Ben has had temporary custody since.  Please pray that His will be done, especially for the kids, but also for all involved.  We know the mom was/is involved in drugs, etc.

Oh, and thanks "Doc" for the "prod"...

Jim

Prayers sent to protect the kids and your son from the evil the ex is in.

You're welcome for the "prod" Jim.  This place has power in prayer...lemmie restate that... Prayer in this place has power... the prayers are the source of power, not this place and I know other know what I mean.

Lord, be with these wee ones, the delight of their daddy and grandparents and protect them with your Wisdom and Mercy. If it be your will, release them permanently into their loving daddy's protective care so that they might grow to know You and Love You as their Dad and grandparents do.

In your Mercy Lord..hear our prayers.

Praise be to Him!  His will (as decided in the courtroom this morning) is that Sydney and Hunter will remain with their father (legally) from this day forth.  My heartfelt thanks for your prayers.  Gotta go hug my grandkids...
