Gentlemen, I ask for your prayers for my follow up with the Neurologist. I was diagnosed with 14 brain lesions and have not had any real problems or symptoms for the past two years. I've noticed a few things lately and hope that it is nothing as I am concerned about MS.

Fred prayers sent. My wife has ms and it sucks but through prayer, exercise, and medication we've kept it minimized. Don't give up keep trusting Jesus.

Met with Doc today and my concern was not shared, but the Neurologist states she is concerned about
Parkinson's. So, blood work today to rule out other contributing factors and off for a MRI tomorrow.

The first MRI showing the original 14 lesions did not bother me for some reason and I told the Doc to get with the Radiologist and get a greaae pencil and connect the dots on the film. Why? I told them that I had a hunch that we would find a map that showed the location of Asama Ben Laden. No such luck. May be they will get it right this time.

I covet your prayers and believe me do not feel as at ease about it all this time. God is good and something positive will come out of it all.

Docs are great, but God is greater! Amazing thing this body He gave us... and more amazing the things that we've witnessed here through prayer and God's Mercy.

May He pour out his Grace, Love and Healing on you. May His peace and Face shine on you and keep you strong.

UPDATE: Feb 1, 2007

Well today I had my MRI and they asked me to wait at the imaging center for the Dr. to read it and then asked that I go straight over to my Neurologists. A bit disconcerting. I spent the whole time in the Tube in prayer.

My visit with the Neurologist resulted in a comment from the Doc that she was not as concerned about MS as she is about Parkinson's. Now that went a long way towards making me feel secure!

I told the young lady doing the MRI today that I hoped they do a better job than the last one. She asked what that was. I told her that I was disappointed that the previous MRI found the lesions, but it did not result in a map showing the location of Osama. She said I really had her going. Sometimes I just have to handle my stress and anxiety with a tad of humor.

Fred, I know it can be frustrating just from not knowing.. My wife has been through a legion of tests in the past ( a case similar to your's) and not knowing has been the toughest part. Seems sometimes that the doctors were using her as a test as to whether or not something would work or not work. But the Lord was always there as were some good Christian friends who always had a word of encouragement. Have learned and am continuing to learn that the Lord is soveriegn in everything and that we can trust in His providence. Will be praying for you and the medical staff and that they will make an accurate diagnosis.. John

Older I get, the more I begin to wonder if this whole Christian thing revolves totally on TRUST.

All those sayings about "turning it over", "Letting go and letting God" all seem to point to "trust in the Lord with all your heart..."

Were I to have the insights and trust of Paul, then nothing would rattle my cage. As of yet, I still struggle.

I share your anxiety over the unknown, Fred. Every day there is another faith hurdle of the unknown. Yet, as with you, knowing that I can turn it all to the Lord almost seems to easy...as though we should be "doing" more.

May the peace that passess all understanding keep you and your wife's heart and mind on Christ.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. I finally got an answer. Yes, I have more lesions, but no they are not life threatening and do not represent a MS threat. REALLY GREAT NEWS!!!!!

They want to continue to monitor me with regards to Parkinson's, but I can assure you that I am going to get back in shape and be the healthiest looking guy with lesions that you have ever seen.

What glorious news! Don't know much about them lesions...but sounds like it can be scary.
