Like Annoited, I've had so many emotions.
Our local TV station had a phone interview with a young man in our area in attendance at VT and his words chilled me to the bone...stating that, "when he stopped to reload magazines, we were either already "hit" or too scared outa our minds to move"...and then the slaughter resumed.
I hurt in so many ways..knowing how dreadful such tragedy will impact those students, other campuses, and those who lost loved ones...
I hurt because on another level, already the "anti-gun" rhetoric is rolling out... and yet, nothing about equiping individuals to remember the mentality of Flight 93 and those who spared us all from further devastation.
Our twisted world will always have people who have taken hard turns in life and lost perspective. How do we, besides turning to God for answers and direction, learn to equip ourselves and our young people to deal with these situations by learning how and when to take what action to limit such devastation???
Lord in your mercy...
