Prayers for daughter
« on: July 10, 2007, 12:12:00 AM »
I would appreciate prayers for our daughter who was raped on Saturday night. I know I can count on my fellow traditional archers.  Thanks.

Only God can take care of this kind of pain. We will certainly be lifting up your whole family in prayer. Get your daughter some proffessional help to get her through this. I understand that is very important. Please let us know if we can do anything more. We will pray mightily!

Li'l Ms. Kim said a mouthful there... the damage in situations like this goes far beyond the physical wounds to the deep emotional ones...

May God wrap this woman in his blanket of loving care, consuming her anger, guilt, any other emotions from such a horrible violation that she may truly feel loved and blessed by Him and give this burden to Him, knowing His healing love.

May all of you, Greg, be also blessed to let go of the hate and anger that surely I would feel, and focus on reaching out to your daughter in love and abiding patience as she heals inside and out.

Lord, in your mercy...

No women should have to go through that kind of pain. You, your daughter & your family will be in my prayers. Jesus will bring justice when He returns.

gak prayers sent to help deal with the anger and not to stuff it deep inside. My daughter has gone through the same thing and the anger for all is something not to ignore.

Hey Brother,
You all will be in our prayers. No one should have to deal with this kind of injury. The person that did this I hope is in jail. He needs to be castrated and violated as he has done.
                            GOD BLESS YOU ALL

GAK, PRAYERS FOR STRENGTH AND INNER CALM AS YOU DEAL WITH THIS HEINOUS OFFENSE TO YOUR DAUGHTER AND ALL WHO LOVE HER. I SHARE ARCHER2's SENSE OF PUNISHMENT FOR THE PERPETRATOR OF SUCH AN ACT.

May God take care of your daughter, you and your family. I will pray for her. Please be strong for her and listen if she wishes to eventually speak about it. This is a trying time and may God bless and guide everyone.

I hope Hell as space for one more vile, despicable individual. May the fires burn especially hot when he arrives at his final destination.

Oh Greg my heart goes out to your daughter, as Miss Kim so eloquently stated please get her some professional help and counseling. It will help with her pain, fear, anger and bitterness. But most of all the Lord will see her through this.

It may take some time before she can get past a lot of her inner feelings, I'm confident she will overcome it with God's Grace by laying it all at His feet. I've counseled girls who have been through this as well and the first steps are hard but they will get easier with family's support, but especially with someone who can relate with her.
Praying that justice prevails and the healing can begin.

Not sure if you received my email but please contact me if she or you would ever like to talk.

Galen I am sorry about your girl too as I just read what you posted...

you are so right, it will do more damage if not confronted and left to fester into years of emotional problems for everyone.
