Lost my mom 2+ years ago to the same thing. She'd been suffering for years and they blamed it on arthritis...but it was some intestinal cancer...matastisized in her bones.
Mom was a spiritual woman, but those last 2 weeks of life were the most profound of my life. She went from worry, pain, anxiety about everything in life to a woman covered up in peace, love, joy, hope and such a glow to know she'd finally be going home to her precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and be made perfect in every way in His presence.
We were all blessed to have seen such transformation in her... saying good bye was so much easier.
That was an elderly woman tired of fighting.
May your Mom find, as many have, that the Lord will Grace her with His healing and power...that she might be a testament to His glory and power in her remaining days, healed clean of this miserable cancer, and that each of you will cherish the time with her and be uplifted and walk in Peace and joy.
Keep the Son in your eyes!
