Quiet prayer request
« on: September 25, 2007, 08:50:00 AM »
Hey...  :)

If you would..just asking for some special prayers for emotional healing, peace, understanding and discernment for myself and a special friend.

God knows the details and I feel that a right path is unfolding, but if you don't mind the ambiguity, a few extra prayers for the above peace and discernment, would be appreciated.

Thanks folks.  :)

Brother you are on my daily prayer list.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Prayers sent for Jesus to be in the center your situation.

Thanks, guys.  I know God has and is in the center of all this and His Will has already shown through. Our God is indeed an Awesome God. All things in His time... :)

He has shown an answer to a tough choice, but it still requires, as with us all, considerable Faith and strength to give over totally to His Will.

...and that total surrender remains a daily struggle on some things, but He never fails or falters, but I do.

Thanks for the prayers to stay centered in His will.

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace!

LOrd has given the peace, guys... but there is always that "hole" that lingers when a relationship has to end.  :)

Transition is a time of challenge for anyone in all circumstances, large and small. It takes time to adjust, even when the mind knows it was the best and right choice and right course of action.

I appreciate the prayers. He's already answering them with peace and the knowledge that the choices were made the right way...waiting on His direction.

Thank you my friends, and thank you Jesus.

Thanks, Guys.

Change is never easy. Even when it's the absolute right thing and God's made His will known, there are feelings of mourning and saddness and adjustment.

The neat thing about feelings is that they're always more about what we tell ourselves than what is real.

Trusting God for me means knowing that I can endure the feelings and He will never give more than I can handle.

Thanks for the prayers... for me the other 1/2 of this situation.
