Please pray
« on: January 14, 2008, 03:05:00 PM »
This has nothing to do with the "tradgang" or anyone I knew but on past Friday night Bathurst Highschool (a town in New Brunswick, Canada)lost 7 teenage boys from their Basketball team as well as the wife of the headcouch in a horendous car accident.  The van slid in front of an 18 wheeler and pretty much got demolished.  dead were a 52 year old wife of one, 5 17 year old boys a 16 and a 15 year old boy. May god be good to the families and friends.  What a tragedy for a small town to bear.
A bad day of hunting is still far better than a good day at work.

Man o man how sad, the enemy sure is at work lately.  May the God of peace and mercy be with all involved!

Prayers of comfort and grace
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Prayers sent for all families involved.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Tragedy abounds...WE're not here as a closed group from Tradgang...we're here as brothers and sisters in community with Jesus Christ.

At least this internet thing allows us to lift up so many more than we'd otherwise ever know about... So thanks, E. Fisher, for allowing us to offer our prayers.

Lord, hear our prayers for these lost lives and the dramatic impact it will have on so many. Keep them all in Your loving arms and minister to them according to their needs. Help them to come closer to you to know you and lean on you that this tragedy might bring some closer to you.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
