Prayer request
« on: March 03, 2008, 06:57:00 AM »
Back at the end of July, I severely dislocated my left (dominant) thumb...so bad, I really tore up some ligaments and tendons.  Went thru months of therapy and non invasive solutions...none worked at all.  So for over seven months now, no work and no bows.  Today I find out if we will need to go further with surgical procedures from the one hand specialist, then I'm slated in two weeks to get the second opinion.  A month ago the hand specialist told me there was a 40 to 60% chance for regaining 75% use of thumb on my dominant hand....ligament and tendon damage is rather extensive, and alot of gray area. Both thumb joints are a wreck still. It's been seven months, and the palm region is still swollen. Today I begin to find out the specifics of the process.  My last visit, he began talking about rebuilding the joint and I hope to find out about the ligaments...apparently, being torn apart for that long isn't a good thing, and they certainly haven't healed back anywhere near where they should be.
I haven't been on here since around Christmas time...heck, haven't even been online.  I've always believed in the power of prayers, so I ask for them here, now.  I am way backed up on the work load, and need to get back at it !
Thank you.  God Bless. Bill

Prayers for God's wisdom and healing.

Wild Wooly, Willy Wooster!  :)

My dear, dear brother... good to see you on here.

You've got my prayers for a special deep healing of these old wounds. Lord's not done with you yet and there are a lot more lives for you to impact... one handed just ain't gonna cut it.

Of course, Wooster, you could get right minded and learn to do things right handed!  :)

I know your heart and know you love to smile... now you can mess with me about my upcoming shoulder surgery and being a total cripple and nobody to cook my soup! LOL

Lord, you know your servant's heart...you know his love of his fellow man, and especially those who will come to be with you far too early in life. Be with Bill. Be with his medical team.

You've done it before and we laud and maginfy your name for past healings and ask again for you to send your special healing powers to this man of strong faith. According to Your will, Lord, make him whole and strong again to continue his work in your name. Amen.

Bill,I am praying for you.God....     let
Bills thumb get back as close to normal as you see fit. Let the inflammation go down and let the ligaments and tendons get back to where they once were so that his thumb will move again like it use to.Thank you God.
Stay strong Bill. Seven months is a long time, even longer if we wouldn't have God and prayer.

PRAYING FOR BILL,
LORD WITH YOUR WILL PLEASE RELEAVE BILLS PAIN AND STRUGGLES, HEAL HIS THUMB AND REPAIR HIS HAND.
We are what we do repeatedly. Execellence is, therefore, not an act but a habit.

Lord,

Your word says "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven."  We gather before you now asking together for your complete healing of Bill's injured hand and we thank you for prayers answered.

In Jesus holy name,
Amen
