Prayers for loved ones.
« on: March 14, 2008, 03:27:00 AM »
My 3 children (the youngest the boy of 26) are all having problems.  The boy has lost 40 pounds on medication he needs. (he was not overweight and is now like twiggy).  The daughters are both with children and both going through divorce.  Dad here has reached the end of his rope or just plain feels used up emotionally.  They say we can't live their life for them but why does it feel like we do?  Anyway thanks all and well, I have an unspoken prayer request also.   God bless.

Prayers sent. It's hard on dads to see their kids suffer. God is no different He feels your sorrow too and will work on your behalf.

BD,

I know I used to try to take on the world's problems... and had to realize that is God's job..and He's so more qualified!  :)

Seriously, put those kids where they belong at the foot of the cross and rely on God to fix them and their needs.

Meanwhile, back on the ranch, we're ready and willing to lift them all up in prayer and await God's will and see what He has in store...His will be done!

Hard as all get out to let go and let god...but it's the only true way to put things right!

Keep the son in your eyes!!!  :)
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

BOWDUDE,
THAT IS A HARD ONE BEEN THERE WITH ONE OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS. GIVE THIS TO GOD MY FRIEND. TRUST HIM WITH YOUR KIDS. HE WILL NOT FAIL.

In our prayers Steve,

God knows what to do...we leave it up to Him ususally when we get all spent up and not able to handle anymore....I know that first hand as well as so many others, just wanting to relate and both of us are praying for you and your loved ones.
Here for you if you ever need to talk.
