Prayers for my Dad
« on: March 22, 2008, 10:09:00 PM »
Hey Folks,I would like to ask you all if you could say a prayer for my Dad tonight.I just found out late this afternoon that he had a heart attack at 12:30 while he and his wife were doing some shopping.Thank you Lord that they reacted quickly, called 911,off to the hospital, where they were waiting and got him in pronto.Doc said that if they would have tried to drive there it probably would have been to late.
Thanks everybody.          PRAYIN HARD IN PENNA.

Boy that hits close to home, MB. PRayers for continued healing, God's Grace to be on your Dad and bring him through this according to His will.

Prayers for all involved and ike Doc, hits close to home for me too.
I lost my dad to heart failure and cerbrial hemmorage simultainiously on April 16, 2000, he was only 59 and I miss him so much, the apple of my eye....they arrived too late and could not revive him due to his functions shutting down.
It was 8 years ago this week since the last time I hugged him never knowing I would never see him again.
Knowing he loved us so much gives my heart joy and praying he is in everlasting bliss right now with the hope that the face I see first after my Lord's will be his when I enter the gates because of His promise to us.

I am so sorry for going on about this but it is so wonderful to have the caring and loving friends here praying for us in all our trials.
Take care and praying for you and your family through this.

My dad got out of the hospital yesterday. He has some rehab classes that he has to attend concerning his heart, diet, and exercise. The doctor said that he doesn't want him becoming a couch potato but not to overdo it either.A weight restriction is on for two weeks.
I want to thank you all for taking the time to pray for my Dad.Take care and stay strong.

MB,

Sounds like a good outcome all around. Praises to the real healer in all this as He guides the hands of physicians and all in health care.

Those classes are pretty important.  Let's hope "dad" sees them as such and applies what they teach so he might be around to keep you in line a goodly long time.

Shell,
Thanks for your testament to your own father.
