soldier in trouble
« on: June 13, 2008, 12:43:00 AM »
One of my female soldiers just got out of the hospital.  She had been heavily intoxicated and abusing her meds.  Very suicidal.  Cutting wrist.  Just came back from leave to see family.  I think something happened that has scarred her.  Doc says she has borderline personality disorder.
Need prayer that 1.she will be make it through this alive.  2. That whatever is hurting inside her will be brought to light and addressed 3. That I will be more than just her platoon sergeant and show her Christ's love through me. (She does not know the Lord)

Prayers sent for God to intervene for her.

Life's tough enough for us all these days, but my heart goes out to those who do not know the Lord.

May her training instill strength while you and the rest of us pray her right into His Arms.

Lord, this one needs you big time... we ask that you reach out your hand and touch her and soften her heart, bring forth healing and let her know your Mercy and Grace through us.

amen.

The pain of this young woman is evident in your discription of her.  Father, open your arms to your lost daughter, lead her home to you as you do any of your lost sheep, comfort her with your peace that passes all understanding and show her that her true worth lies in you.

For those who love her and support her, bring strength and the words you need her to hear.

Thank you for the blessings you bestow daily.
