Prayrs to All
« on: September 14, 2008, 06:52:00 PM »
I want to start off by appologizing to EVERYONE here who frequents this awesome site and especially the Prayers/concerns. site.  I have not been keeping up with my involvement with your prayer requests as I have been for several months been hitting the bottle extremly hard.  I have had a drinking problem for years and for 15 years I was dry and stayed away from it.  Up until 11 months ago when I tried that one glass of scotch and that lead it to another and so on.  I am dry again for 1 month so far.  Not easy but my family and friends mean more to me than the bottle.  Anyways to Dock Noc. I am soooo sorry to hear about the job.  Them ""bastards""They had no right taking that from you  C2 and all the others that have posted here.  GOD BLESS YOU ALL and I am praying for each and everyone of you.  I have all the posts photocopied so I do not forget anyone.  Take care and thank you for the time to spill the guts
A bad day of hunting is still far better than a good day at work.

Been there done that. Prayers for God's grace and strength.

Great thing about our Awesome God is that there is boundless "2nd chances" with a repentetant heart.

There are way many addictions beyond alcohol and drugs...

I'm lucky to come here and realize that even in the worst of times, I'm blessed.  We all have struggles.

David, you take care of you and there is no place for self-imposed guilt here.  Sometimes it helps to reach outside our own troubles, but don't ever put yourself down for not being here.

That is where most of our problems start... putting ourselves down.  Easy to do. Hard to recover from... nasty business this self doubt stuff.

Prayers for you to get back up on that wagon and find renewed strength and peace in our Lord.

We're here for YOU too!

Keep the Son in your eyes!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

and Peter ask Yeshua how many times must I forgive him and Yeshua said 70 X 7!  God is good ALL the time! Amen!
