Prayers for those needing jobs.

We need renewed prayer for everyone in the same jobless boat. I pray you all see Jesus walking on the water to you and that you see Him calm the seas of your situation and bring you safely to your answered prayers.
God's best to you all.

Lord as you know we have several that have lost their job or may be losing their job. I pray for our econmy and for our political leaders. I pray at this time that each and every person will turn to you and put all their trust in you.  Please let your fire be rekindled in the lives of those who may have lost some touch with you.  Please let there be those  come to you and accept you at this time.We pray for your will to be done. I thank you for the grace you give us and the mercy you have on us.Thank you for your forgiveness and love. In CHRIST NAME AMEN!!!

Thank you, Benson for starting this prayer,  from one that has been out a while and for all the rest I brought up top the other day, for they have been heavy on my heart --those who have shared their predicament and then...vanished.  :(

Chad, sometimes it's not about just "trusting", but knowing full well that this is a fallen world in which we live, and while God will provide for our daily needs, most of us have extended ourselves beyond our 'daily needs'.

So often, even amidst our church families, there is a sublmiminal message that if we're not "blessed" financially or with healing, that we must have something wrong with our relationship with God.

I find nothing biblical in that since many of the leaders of the biblical church suffered horrendously, and that has remained true in our contemporary world as well.

I don't like to suffer, but while things aren't good, I'm blessed in other "daily bread" ways, and I'm trying to learn to find peace amidst the turmoil and as you say, Chad, trust that the Lord "has my back" as it were.

Sometimes, I wonder if He allows us to wait until we realize other's opinion of "why?" we're still seeking, "just-doesn't-matter". Afterall, as you say, it's between Him and the one "waiting"".

Good question. I was thinking of how I've come to learn to count on, even expect, a quality of life far above my own "daily bread".

God doesn't promise us a rose garden, but I for one wish for more than I often need. Even those in the desert complained when they had free manna for too long. How selfish we/I can be at times.  :(

I have had to confess that to Him daily, and thank Him for what He has provided.

Amen Doc. We get used to the blessings and then when they diminish we forget to thank Him still. I get you brother. We should thank Him no matter what as He will sustain us. That is His promise. Even we believers sometimes get caught up in the now and what we think we need to survive that we need a wake up call every now and then. I thank my Lord Jesus for all things. He will bring me through these troubled times. I pray He will uplift our country and not destroy it for all our faults. God I ask that you save us from ourselves and uplift the economy of this great nation to its former greatness so that people can be put back to work. Thank you in your Holy Name we pray.

Tonight I will pray for those needing work and all that need prayer for what ever reason . My prayers were answered yours will be as well. I don't always understand why some of the nicest people have difficulties, unless it is a test of some sort. I can only say that regardless of how rough the road may become. The Lord will smooth the way. Keep your head and spirit up and always trust in the Lord!
