Prayers for my Mom.
« on: April 24, 2009, 10:08:00 PM »
I have asked for prayers before when my mom was first diagnoised with cancer. She has been thru 2 chemo treatments in the last 2.5 yrs. Well the cancer has returned again. This time they can't give her the same treatments because her body is just not strong enough. She's all of 5' tall and abt 80# of mean WVA hillbilly...LOL who would give you the shirt off her back if you asked. They arent giving her much hope. I would just ask that you would pray for her pain. She is having alot of pain and hates to take the medicine. She is saved and so I have comfort in knowing I will see her again.

Thanks   Terry

Terry, Having lost my own Mom 4 years ago, I know that statement right there is the greatest gift your Mom could give you: Giving you the peace knowing she is saved.

Prayers for God's mighty grace to cover all you and bring you peace and that Christ's perfect love for us all will bring release from pain for your Mom.

If it be God's will that He remove this damnable cancer, then His will be done.

Peace, brother.

Amen to the awesome love of God in Jesus. May He hold her close and comfort her. Praying for your family.

Terry,

I lost a wife to the dread disease and know what you are going through. I am praying for you and your family. God Bless.

Guy's, sorry for the lack of updates....she is soldiering on with life. I only wish I was as tough as she is. Treatments not really having much affect and the pain is getting worse. But you would never know it, she never complains. Will know soon whether she is going to continue treatments or stop. Thanks for the Prayers!

What a role model your Dear Mom is being to us all! I complain daily about my aches and pains and arthritis...and she is fighting for her life while giving Him the Glory and trusting in His salvation.

Incredible! Giver her a hug from the Gang here, will ya!? Prayers for healing according to His will.
