Upcoming Surgery was a SUCCESS!!!!

Guys and Gals I am facing upcoming neck surgery to repair a herniated disk on the 22nd of this month.  I am a bit nervous about the surgery b/c it is close to my spinal cord and all the complications that are possible are making me uneasy.  Please think about me on the 22nd and say a prayer for me as you sit in your deerstand.

Thanks for all the kind words of encouragement.  My surgery was a success and went quite smoothly. I may just heal up enough to make it back out during the late season.

Do what the docs tell you till they tell you to do more...then push! I amazed them 6 years ago with rotator sugery and was hunting before the season was over...but it took patience till I got the green light, then tears aplenty doing all I could daily to get back on top!

Thank you everyone for all your prayers.  I can feel them on a daily basis. I have had very little post surgery pain and the pain that was there before surgery is now gone.  The hardest part now is looking out the window and wishing I was sitting in a treestand with my longbow in hand.

When you can walk, go. Might not be with a bow, but go find what suprises God's got for you out there to make the transition more manageable. Might be a memorable encounter that you least expect even without a bow in your hand...
