Surgery Tomorrow @ 6:00AM
« on: April 05, 2010, 08:13:00 PM »
When tomorrow is the day! I head in for a hip replacement @ 6:00AM

Should be back home on Friday if everything goes as planned. Then I will be doing rehab at home for the next 3-4 weeks before I will be able to much of anything from the sounds of it.

Guess I'll just have to spend more time on Trad Gang!

Wish me luck!

Do the re-hab, work hard at it and you'll be out and about in no time. Best of luck and hope for a speedy recovery.....ron w

Best of luck! May God guide the surgeons hands. I need the same surgery, just can't afford it right now.

Prayers for patience to wait till they say "GO" and then the moxey to sweat blood to rehab!

Gut tells me this will go great! Enjoy the table time! When ya count backerts from 100...yell, hey...as you feel that cold creep up your arm and then say..."NITE!" It brings em to their knees every time!

Pullin and praying for a great operation and recovery!

Thanks everyone! I have my bag packed and I'll make sure I do my rehab as instructed.

I went out and shot my longbow for about 30 minutes today.......It's going to drive me nuts not being able to shoot for awhile.

Talk to you all soon!    :bigsmyl:

Just got home from the hospital this afternoon. They put Humpty Dumpty back together again!

It wasn't to bad, naturally I'm really sore and stiff. My PT guy had me walking up and down the hallways with my walker the day after surgery. No Pain No Gain!

Thanks for the prayers and well wishes.

Thank you, Jesus! With your sense of humor, you will do fine...Humpty Dumpty indeed!  :)

Remember one thing re: pain & gain. There is a fine line between "pain" that is just suffering and part of healing...and "pain" that is causing damage from doing too much being stubborn.

Demand that the docs tell you where that line is and remind them that you'll deal with the pain that heals..just make sure you know where the line is and don't tempt fate!

Keep the Son in your eyes and working hard!
