(Moderators, this was already posted in the events forum. Please leave in the PowWow for maximum exposure for vendors and visitors alike if possible. Thank you.)

It's time to start planning for this year's expo. We had nearly 50 vendors last year and about 3,500 visitors over the weekend. It was quite a success, thanks to all of you who participated.

Even with the major success of the first one, we will continue to improve the expo and we started by moving it a few miles across the river, out of the city and into the Belmont County Fairgrounds near St. Clairsvile, Ohio. The fairgrounds has much easier access, more parking and a bigger building. This will allow us to have bigger/multiple archery ranges. The expo will be held on April 11, 12 & 13, 2008.

Almost all of the vendors from last year expressed an interest in attending again in 2008. We're just getting the vendor packets out now and we'll keep you posted on the participating vendors as they register.

YES!!!!

I can't wait to go again. Brian you did a fantastic job on last years. Will there be camping at the fair grounds or do I need to find a hotel?

Thanks

Your flyer did not mention "675 miles from Shaun's house" - I will be there. Great job on the first annual event.

Maybe in Minnesota Big Man but the turkey seasons won't open in WV, OH or PA until the end of April.

The closest airport will be Pittsburgh, PA.

Dallas Pike Campground is close as well as a few others. I will have to look into the availability of camping at the fairgrounds.

I'm right down the road here (438 miles according to Mapquest) and I wanted to go last year. Brian, We will probably be there this year. Eagle's Flight Archery will be calling you or someone to confirm that soon. Thanks for the early heads up.

OH NO, You've got the dates wrong by one weekend!  I will be over there the next weekend to turkey hunt (as will 1000's of other nimrods).  If you post pone it until then we can hunt all morning and attend the expo all afternoon!  I won't be able to make that roundtrip drive from SW Ohio twice in one week.  DARN!!!!
