Prayer for a friend
« on: June 28, 2010, 12:16:00 PM »
Please pray for my friend Luther. He is at MD Anderson in Houston today to go thru a twelve hour operation removing his voice box. He has throat cancer and his prognosis has sounded rather bleak. I know all things are possible thru the power of prayer and he needs all he can get right now. Thanks Lowrider

Praying for God's best.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Prayers sent.
Genesis 27:3 Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me [some] venison

Prayers for his medical team to be guided by the Great Physician throughout their surgery and recuperative periods.

May God's peace and strength wrap Luther in His loving arms.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
