Amen. Praying for God's best comfort, strength, and healing

Bill & Steph,

Prayers for discernment and quiet time enough to hear God's still small voice.

May His loving Grace cover you both and bring you peace and insight to His Holy Will.

Ragin Water thanks for your outreach.  Strange fraternity we are in.

Thanks again everyone for all of the prayer.

My wife will start chemo on monday.  We have asked god to give us a path and he did.  It took a while but we ended up at North Western University.  The Dr. there really matched well with us and gave us some comfort.

We are both scared as to what this next step will bring.  We have been told such bad things about chemo.

I shot a bow for the first time in eight weeks.  Got to shoot with my nephews and my little girl.  It was wonderful.  I'm standing there with four children that I have taught archery too and just felt joy.

Bill Tell,

Would you wife want to talk with my wife?

Only someone that has been thru chemo can really understand. My wife would be overjoyed to listen to your wife. Sometimes, a perfect stranger that has been thru what your wife is going thru can really help. She can say whatever she feels and be completely free to complain, to be mad, to scream, to cry, to shake her fist.

My wife will listen and comfort her.

Thanks Matt for the offer.  My Steph has been talking to her Aunt a lot these days.  Strange fraternity for those who fight this thing.  I hope that your wife is strong and doing well.  I will say a prayer for her continued great health.

So far so good for the treatments.  Twenty three weeks from now it will all be over.  One week down!

I wanted to give every one on here an update on my wife.  Thanks to the Almighty one above my wife has just one treatment of chemo left and then we will be done with this chapter of life.

When I was in need of strength, this forum provided.  When we were in need of a prayer, this forum provided.  When I was without a speritual leader, Doc Nock was there.  Thank you to all that helped us through this very hard time.  I could not have done it with out all of you.

First, Prayers of Thanksgiving to our Lord for your wife's battle drawing to a positive close with the end of chemo.

Second, Son, you're swimmin in some muddy waters if anything my flawed and fallable self did
 provided "spiritual leadership".

Truly, I'm humbled beyond words to read such statements. I've grown and learned from others here over the years...and I've become a better man for what I've learned, but Lord knows how far I've yet to go to ever even THINK of taking a splinter from another's eye.

What I am today, I know deep inside is truly due to the many power prayers lifted up in and on my behalf by the good folks of Trad Gang on this forum for many years.

May God's plan be for your lovely wife to have many years of service in her calling to carry His Love to others and for you both to grow old together and cherish the trials.

Keep the Son in your eyes!
