Daisy Update
« on: October 02, 2010, 07:31:00 AM »
Well we took Daisy to WestChester Vet Oncology&Research center
yesterday, they tested her bone marrow and blood tests along with xrays. Dr said GOOD, we caught this early.Lungs are clear liver and spleen good. Dr is 80% sure this can be put into remission with Daisy having an excellent
Quality of life. She won't even know she's sick. I was dumbfounded
at all the different breeds of dogs in there with the same sickness!
Pray for each of them along with their owners too please.

Thank you all for your prayers!

  Jeff

Glad Daisy will be fine. I know if I lost my dog I would be crushed.

The questionaire sheet is very detailed from diet to type of environment inside and out. There finding this in 1 out of every two
in our breed.  ??????????????????? What's going on?????
I;m so glad that there are vets out there trying to figure this thing out. It's been a very Tough yr for us all but I am still very fortunate to be here. Thank you Lord! And thank you all for your continued prayers for our Daisy and all the others too!

Bizarre...  :(

Might be that it gets traced back to breeders not wanting to loose $$$ so even if their line is found to carry the gene for this breakdown, they breed anyway...???

Whatever, prayers that someone can pin-point and help eliminate this... man's best friend doesn't need to suffer the same ills as his masters do.

Continued prayers for all critters and their owners facing tough situations like this! Prayers for Daisy to go into remission and enjoy her remaining years with you!

A friend ask me one time if I had ever looked at what dog spelled backwards was. I told him no, but when you look at it makes you wonder about our relationship with this creation of our Father and why they are called mans best friend.......Dog...God... Makes you wonder......
